Jack & Sweetie's Cupcake Gothic posted for its 19th week today, which brings it to 19 pages for its inevitable SPX anthology. I've narrowed my color pallet to about 32 colors, which is probably not narrow enough and I've built a pretty no-pane system for doing cute noses. All I need now is a pastry/food blogger who's interested in tag teaming recipes at least once a week.... (any takers?) Creeping up on week 12 of Cupcake Gothic and I just realized I've basically ignored DA since it started. So here is a holiday shout out followed by a black & white piece of cheesecake uploaded to my sketch folder ;)

After 7 months or so devoted to Franklin Street Magic Society, I've finally found the core to the formula that i've been looking for! Sadly, it's not the Magicians in Baltimore making magic jokes that ape what I go through as a graphic designer. Nor is it just 'magicians and weird stuff in baltimore.' None of that was cute enough or easy enough to elevator pitch. So, like the 2 and a half years of Floppy Boy before it, Franklin Street is evolving into something new. Here's a hint: It features cupcakes, magic and a cute little café and the main character is a pretty young girl with Blonde hair :)
